7.1 Solutions Management collects the following information from this website:
(1) Statistical Information
Other than logging the number of hits (non-identified visits) at our web-site, we do not capture any other statistical session data during a normal web-site visit. We do not record pages you have visited or downloaded. More importantly, no personally identifying information such as your name, e-mail address, mailing address or contact telephone numbers is collected during these site visits.
We do use cookies , as most web-sites do, for session tracking but these expire within thirty minutes of you exiting from the Solutions Management web-site.
(2) Collection of identifying personal information
We only collect personal information about you, when you elect to do so, generally when you provide registration details for a stated purpose such as information about:
(a) Registration/Bookings for Functions
(b) Requesting information about Events and Mixers.
(c) Requesting information about Products and Services.
(d) Other direct communications with Solutions Management.
In these situations you will be expressly asked to provide information that personally identifies you or that enables us to contact you and seek to process your request. The information requested would be name, address, e-mail address, telephone contact number, type of request, plus any additional information necessary to aid processing your request or registration of your entry form.

In general, personal information provided to this website will not be used or disclosed by Solutions Management for a secondary purpose , other than the primary purpose of collection unless:
you have consented;
the secondary purpose is related to the primary purpose of collection and you would reasonably expect Solutions Management to use or disclose the information for that secondary purpose (including promoting other related functions and events to you);
the use or disclosure is otherwise required or permitted by law.
Information you have provided may be used in a summarised form, for the purpose of providing statistical information within Solutions Management or to third parties. This information will not identify you individually.
Subject to your consent information may also be provided to sponsors of Solutions Management in order that promotional material may be sent to you. You can elect not to receive such material.
7.3 Access to the information we hold about you
On request by you, we will provide access to any information that we have collected about you, through this web-site. We will need reasonable proof of identity before granting access. Requests may be made by contacting us in writing addressed to The Secretary at the current fixed address located on the website.

If you believe information we hold about you is inaccurate or out of date you may contact us (see Access) and we will correct data that is in error.
7.5 Terms and Conditions of Use
By using this web-site, you are agreeing to the terms of this Web-Site Privacy Statement. We reserve the right to change the terms of this Statement, which govern visits to our web-site.
A revised Statement will apply to data collected after its effective published date. The revision will be posted at least 14 days prior to its effective date. Your continued use of this site, after the published date of the changes, will mean that you have accepted the changes.
7.6 Security
Solutions Management understands the need for a system of security that ensures the privacy of our users personal information is not compromised in any way. We use industry standard security measures to safeguard the personal information that we hold. Our database systems store personal information in secure environments that safeguard it from misuse, wrongful disclosure, alteration or destruction.
We cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us via the Internet, although we use our best endeavours to do so. Solutions Management will not be liable in any way in relation to any breach of security during Internet transmissions of personal information, including any unintended loss, misuse or disclosure of that information.
8. Payment and Refund Policy
8.1 You may register and pay for functions on line using your credit card. It is a criminal offence to utilise a credit card that you are not authorised to use.
8.2 Your registration at functions will not be processed until payment has been successfully processed.
8.3 All functions are subject to a maximum attendance number and there is no guarantee that the processing of your application will guarantee a place at the function. Priority for additional places at functions are given to existing Solutions Management Sponsors, and annual ticket holders.
8.4 Solutions Management invites members of the business community to attend functions. However, Solutions Management retains the absolute discretion to refuse any application on reasonable grounds providing these are not for a discriminatory reason contrary to law. Solutions Management may in its absolute discretion decline entry (or remove from function premises) any person who aims to harm or otherwise disrupt the function.
8.5 Should your application not be able to be processed for any reason (and if a payment has been processed) a refund equivalent to the amount paid will be processed within 7 days. Refunds will occur either by posting of a cheque to the address provided with the application, or alternatively to reversing the payment processed to the same credit card utilised to make the payment.
8.6 Should an event organised by Solutions Management be cancelled for some unforeseeable reason (such as unavailability of a guest speaker or alternative guest speaker) then a registrant can elect to either receive a refund or alternatively be offered a place at a subsequent function (to the same value).
8.7 Refunds will be available for individual registrants who cancel a booking at least 10 days in advance of a function. Notice of cancellation must be provided in writing (including email) including the reason for the cancellation. Cancellations are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. Refunds are not available to annual ticket holders or for table bookings. Refunds for such cancellations will be processed within 7 days following the function.
8.8 Solutions Management makes every endeavour to ensure that the speakers advertised as addressing functions will attend the function. However, Solutions Management reserves the right to substitute guest speakers in circumstances where an advertised guest speakers is unavailable. No refund will be granted should such an alternative guest speaker be obtained.
8.9 Other than as provided in this clause no refunds will be available unless approved by Solutions Management (at its absolute discretion) or required by law.
